Dust til Dust, 2022
Mud, Straw, Steel, Wood
Original location: Columbus, GA
An exploration of now, a memory of then and a pondering of what was before it all or what will come after.
Weed Patch, 2024
Acrylic on Wood, Nails
Public art installation located in the Blue Moon Courtyard on South Foster in Downtown Dothan.
This sculpture takes advice from the similarities between signs and advertisements and weeds. Like weeds, signs and advertisements pop up almost anywhere and are generally unwanted and impossible to get rid of.
I do hope the sculpture sparks curiosity about the lot and the street and the nearby, tangible world of here and now that we all live in but so often goes unnoticed.
8 Red Rectangles, 2023
Acrylic on Canvas
Red in the Garden
Location: Eufaula, AL
Sculptures in Red Hook, NY
These sculptures are mounted atop a large pedestal 2000 feet in height and constantly guarded by relentless savages. Only those daring and skilled enough to cross the toxic moat, fight off the relentless savages , and scale the somewhat slippery 2000 foot large pedestal (or those who own a helicopter, hot air balloon, or other flying apparatus) will be able to view the works.
